Oh! but the rain

Oh! But the rain

Patron of love from the season
Joyous beings look up for that reason
Falls thy from the mischievous heaven
Falls but once a 24x7

Sings the bird to please thee
Another day he'd like to see
While moments flow down a muddy stream
Levitating the river to its brim

Relaxed the farmer in his house
A smile to share from his spouse
Blessed be them they think they are
Heavens decided to pour in their jar

A feild of dreams tilts to swear
'Hunger won't be a threat to bear'
The green of nature will turn to gold
The power of thy are so to hold

A poor soul in spite cries alone
His strength to bear now long gone
Thy love now a burden to hold
The sorrows that he now unfold

Times when thee put a smile
When he'd play with thee and walk a mile
Drenched in thy love he would sing
Hollow a piece of wood and the metal string

The same clock now has brought
A time of choice; he has to sort
Over a happiness or a sick night
His heart and brain in a  street fight

He'd choose his heart and he'd suffer
A ill body is a choice of the duffer
Yet the heart wins this game of fight
And so his fingers type this in a lonely night
